We’ve had german, russian and french students before and we usually have a few a year, but we’ve decided to host a Japanese because we’ve heard that they find it very difficult to find host families in England, plus it’ll help me with my studies. We’re signed up with a website but it’s only to host people from europe. Is there any websites that are for families that want to host students from Asia, specifically Japan?
I can definitely recommend EF Foundation — our UK division brings about 600 students to the UK every year, and we definitely have students coming from Japan.
If you visit http://www.efhighschoolyear.co.uk/master… and submit an inquiry for more information, someone should get in contact with you. Make sure to specify your UK location in the comments section so it gets to the correct person for you area of the country
Good luck!

In America I hear foreign exchange students from non european countries have an easy time finding a host family.
